Now the vineyard covers 15 hectares, and since 2020 the Winery opens the doors of its own guesthouses with traditional cuisine. Located in the heart of the Republic of Moldova, in the village of the same name – Mircești, it is 25 kilometers from the city of Ungheni and 80 kilometers from Chișinău.

The grant obtained, as well as its own contribution, was directed to equipping eight hotel rooms with furniture, sanitary equipment and air conditioning. Likewise, equipment for the wastewater treatment plant and agricultural machinery for vineyards were purchased. As a result of the implementation of the investment project, at least five jobs were created.
“Crama Mircești” is a local business, where almost 40 residents of the village of Mircești and neighboring localities work as basic and seasonal employees.
A unique element that Crama Mircești offers to visitors is this 3 km hiking trail. It provides the opportunity to explore the surroundings and discover the natural beauties of the area.

From this point, impressive views can be opened to the Ungheni, Fălești, Sângerei, Călărași and Nisporeni districts, and from the meteorological station you can also see the highest point in the Republic of Moldova.
Wines and tradition
The owner of Crama Mircești, Arcadie Foșnea, restored the nearby boyar mansion and managed to preserve its original architectural elements, bringing them into contemporaneity.
The winery also hosts wine experiments as part of the “Best Grapes” project, a project that explores grape growing methods that best adapt to the local context.
This initiative contributes to strengthening the winery’s reputation as an important player in the development of viticulture in the region.
Visitors to Crama Mircești can not only enjoy exceptional wines, but also enjoy landscapes reminiscent of the wine regions of Tuscany, admiring the vineyards that stretch around the winery.
